Taüll
One of the most beautiful towns in Lleida for many reasons. First of all because of its natural environment, and it’s location in the Vall de Boí, one of the most spectacular places in the Catalan Pyrenees. But also this town has a wide repertoire of heritage in the area, featured by the Romanesque, such as its two churches declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
- Must see: Santa María de Taüll and San Climent de Taüll churches, authentic jewels of Catalan Romanesque architecture. You can also enjoy the views and sports at the Boí-Taüll ski resort.
Vielha
It is one of the most awarded towns in Lleida, it couldn’t be missing from this list! The capital of the municipality of Vielha e Mijaran has had great historical importance within the Val d’Aran and has a really immpressive heritage, on the banks of the Garona River. From there, you can discover the entire area and practice different activities within the natural environment.
- Must visit: Take a walk through the old town and visit the Church of San Miguel, enter the Museu de la Vall and the Museu de la Llana.
Prullans
A tiny town in terms of population, just over 200, but with enormous natural and scenic value, as it is located next to the incredible Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park and outlined by the contour of Serrat de Sant Quintí and Serrat del Coronals peaks. A unique setting!
- Must see: Discover the beautiful natural landscapes and do not miss the opportunity to visit the Romanesque church of Sant Esteve and Cova d’Anes .
Unha
Unha is a small municipal entity of just over a hundred inhabitants belonging to the municipality of Alt Arán, in the Val d’Aran region.. It is surrounded by mountains and nature and is distinguished by its beautiful stone houses and its narrow streets that lead to the unique Santa Eulalia parish church.
- Must see: In addition to Santa Eulalia Church, a visit to Unha cannot miss the Snow Museum and the Casa Forta d’Unha.
Solsona
It is one of the largest towns, with about 10,000 inhabitants. It is known for its carnivals, declared as Festivities of National Tourist Interest. In addition to the festival, the town offers a cultural and scenic beauty that sure will impress you.
