Camarasa

In Sant Llorenç de Montgai and Camarasa, in the La Noguera region (Pre-Pyrenees of Lleida), there are some of the former climbing areas in Catalonia. Its routes are northwest facing and therefore perfect for experiencing summer mornings. It is an ideal place to climb in the shade and very close to the road, especially designed for families with children who prefer not to go too far.

Santa Lina, Cubells, Tartareu, Vilanova de Meià and Tarradets also offer a great variety of open routes : from the shortest, without climbing grade, perfect for starting practice, to the most difficult with high grade for expert climbers. Most of the walls are located in the valleys facing south. For this reason, the climbing routes are in optimal conditions for most of the year: autumn, winter and spring.

You just have to find the one that best suits you and jump in!

Cova Gran de Santa Linya

The Cova Gran de Santa Linya is the jewel of the area. It is a 40 meter high lap with a 35 meter drop with more than 60 routes with a climbing grade up to 8b. Our recommendation? It is an option only suitable for experts, therefore, if your thing is climbing in Cova Gran de Santa Linya you will enjoy it as when you were a small child.

Meanwhile, in the Collegats Gorge , about 5 kilometers long, there is a section of Noguera Pallaresa river, between Pobla de Segur and Sort, but closer to La Pobla. As a climbing area it has many routes with all kinds of equipment, long, curbs, hard artificial … It is very likely that among all its variety, you will find what you were looking for!

Alta Ribagorza

In the Alta Ribagorza region, in the Cavallers dam area, there are numerous routes with different difficulties and routes ranging from 10 to 1,000 meters of climbing on a magnificent granite.

We also find roads in the area of the Ventosa i Calvell refuge and in the Agujas de Travessany and Mangades . It is an extraordinary terrain for the practice of climbing, both sporting and classical, since normally, all routes are equipped or half-equipped and have good facilities with anchors.

Whatever is your level, Lleida offers you the possibility of enjoying climbing in all its modalities. Of course, once you try it, we are sure that your stop in Lleida will be a must!
